FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
This is something I like to talk over with potential customers after we look at the scope of work together. This is because there are so many variables to take into account between different jobs. Everyone's homes, wants, and needs are different!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working with the Carpenter's Union back in 2019. The carpentry work was slow at the time, so they stuck me with the drywall finishers and painters for the first part of my apprenticeship. I decided I liked doing that more than the carpentry work and went on to work with a remodeling company where I helped lead the drywall finishing and painting projects. I then decided to step out on my own to start my own business and help people create homes that they love!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ensure that they are insured. Also, there are many people who go to Lowe's, buy a paint brush, and tell people they are qualified to paint. There's a lot more to painting than just slapping some paint on the wall! Hiring the cheapest painter/drywaller will almost inevitably lead to them skipping essential preparation steps or rushing through your project just to make a profit.
