Andy is a wedding officiant and also a (singing) pianist. He is an ordained Reform rabbi, and he is also certified to perform civil ceremonies which might be non-denominational, same gender or more traditional. He also offers renewal of vows ceremonies. He builds on his years of experience to make personal, memorable occasions for each and every couple. He graduated from Hebrew Union College, New York, which also granted him an honorary doctorate in ministry.
Andy is a lifelong pianist with many years as a professional musician, alongside his clergy career. Multitalented as a singer, pianist, and arranger, he can perform well over 3,000 songs & improvises new ones all the time. On piano, he covers all styles, from classical to rock, religious to Broadway, Songbook to 80's, As a soloist, chorister, or bandleader, he has performed at international venues as well as major US cities, including Carnegie Hall, The Jerusalem Theater, and the former USSR and Poland. He studied at Oberlin Conservatory and earned his degree from Northwestern University in Music Theory.
