After years of conducting diversity workshops with Monster.com and other companies, she took a deeper dive into the world of equity and inclusion. After two decades of being a professional trainer, she created long-lasting relationships with some of the country's leading experts in the field and curated: "What's In It For WE?"
She is the creator of the brazen brand, W.T.F. – Women Thriving Fearlessly!™. As a published author of 13 books, and a 23 year speaking veteran, Ms. Gilchrist is an expert in personal development, leadership training, and conflict management skills for women. She has built a thriving business from absolutely nothing to now being the owner of the largest expo for women in business in Chicagoland appropriately called the Women Thriving Fearlessly Expo™. Aside from the credentials mentioned above, no one can move a room from the stage the way that I can. I share my stories of abuse, suicide attempts, and homeless to reveal how I overcame all of it to become a woman thriving fearlessly in life and business. My delivery is authentic, bold, and even humorous at times. It's apparent that I absolutely love what I do and it comes across on stage.
Engaging with people in the room, seeing the "aha" moments, and the tearful hugs at the end make my life's work very fulfilling. Receiving letters and emails from past participants who have shared how my presentation has changed their life keeps me going!
