I provide quality web content and traditional writing services for individuals and small businesses that want excellent work but don't have a large budget or to be locked into a long contract. At the same time, I expect decent pay for my services. My primary focus is helping small businesses get their websites or blogs started. Please read on further for other tasks I do. I love to pick apart difficult topics and make them easy for the average person to understand. Business owners are thoroughly versed in their companies but often don't have the expertise to put it into words. Let me do that for you. I also love to help clients perfect speeches they must presnt to the public. I DO NOT WRITE OR EDIT BOOKS OF ANY TYPE. Do NOT contact me for book manuscript editing. I do not do projects that only involve proofreading. I DO NOT ghostwrite autobiographies, neither do I want to write your self-help book. In addition, I don't want to promote your book. Please review these policies before contacting me. I will help clients with small family histories. I DON'T DO RESUMES. NO LETTERS TO CELEBRITIES, please. I generally don't do academic papers unless you have a master's or doctorate thesis. However, I will help you if you are looking for someone to write a letter of purpose, or if your thesis needs editing and you want to make sure it it dramatically correct. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Editing starts at $3 for every 250 words and goes up to $7.50, depending on the amount of editing needed. Original writing starts at $6.50 for every 100 words and goes up from there, also depending on the complexity of the project. I need to see a sample of what you have before I can give you a definitive estimate. I prefer shorter, ongoing projects such as blogs, news releases, brochures, web content and the like. If you have a book project, please only contact me if you are prepared to pay for work on several chapters in advance. I reserve the right to terminate the project if the fit is not right.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It varies depending on the customers and their needs.. The important thing is to ask questions and get as much information as possible to see what the client really needs. Often, it's up to me to suggest a service or make a recommendation that the clients doesn't realize that he or she needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
