I recently moved into my new place and had a long list of tasks that needed to be taken care of quickly. These ranged from quick fixes like re-keying the front door lock, hanging a TV in the living room, fixing window latches, setting up & installing a motion sensor + video doorbell, setting up a irrigation system for patio plants, and installing baseboards on drywall, to more time-consuming projects like assembling new furniture and repairing leaky faucets. One particularly tricky issue was a double-hung window that was stuck and wouldnt move up or down easilysomething even 2 professionals had advised me to replace entirely!! (Replacing a window would cost thousands of dollars + the rental of a boom lift and scaffolding) Thus replacing the window was beyond my budget.Thats when I did some more research and reached out to Quickfix Gentleman and had Caleb take a look at my list, including the stubborn window. He came over, assessed everything, and said he'd do some research on the window issue. Sure enough, after two visits, he managed to fix everything on my list, including the window, without needing a costly replacement. His work ethic is outstanding, and his rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend Caleb to anyone in the Schaumburg area looking for a reliable, skilled handyman to handle various household repairs.
