Introduction

I have been doing woodwork and antique restoration for over 20 years for high end furniture stores in Chicago. Growing up, I was trained by my grandfather who was a master craftsmen and my father who is a wood carver, using old world and modern techniques. From hand carved distressed, modern furniture pieces, antique restoration and general carpentry we can do it all. My goal is to exceed my clients expectations. I believe in doing the job right the first time.

Nathan was amazing! I bought a wonderful antique cupboard at auction that had significant woodworm damage. Nathan restored it beautifully: it’s now a stunning piece. He kept me informed about my options and the progress of the piece throughout the entire process. I really appreciate the care he took to experiment with different woodworm treatments to find the one that worked best with this particular wood. I highly recommend his company. Nathan did an excellent job restoring my solid oak dining room table and six chairs circa 1890. His work is flawless and he kept me updated with pictures through the process. He also picked up and delivered. The picture says it all!

Furniture refinishing. Nathan did a phenomenal job refreshing a used, weathered cherry headboard and footboard and made created matching rails and slats to complete the bed frame. His craftsmanship and passion for woodworking is evident in the finished product. Additionally we asked Nathan to make 2 Cornhole/Bags boards for our son-in-law. They are”top notch “. We will definitely be using Nathan again.
