- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As I’m new to this platform, despite my extensive experience, I’ve set my hourly rate at an average of $50. I don’t inflate costs—if I already have the necessary supplies and don’t need to make a trip to purchase them, I won’t charge extra. I work quickly and efficiently, which means I can accomplish a lot more within an hour than many who lack experience. This allows you to get quality results at an optimal price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I start by thoroughly understanding their needs and expectations for the project. I ask detailed questions to ensure we’re on the same page about the scope of work and any specific requirements they might have. Once I have a clear understanding, I’ll offer my recommendations based on my experience, which often includes the best materials or techniques to get optimal results. After agreeing on the details, I provide an estimated timeline and discuss the steps involved so the customer knows what to expect. I like to keep communication open throughout the project, updating the customer on the progress and addressing any concerns right away. My goal is to make sure the customer feels comfortable and informed at every stage of the process. Once the job is completed, I double-check the work and clean up the area, leaving it in the best possible condition. This process helps build trust and ensures that the customer is fully satisfied with the results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied electrical engineering for seven years at a college in Russia right after high school. This education provided me with a solid technical foundation, and I worked professionally in this field for some time. Beyond my formal education, I gained extensive hands-on experience by working with a team on home and apartment repairs, mastering various aspects of renovation projects. Additionally, I spent two years working alongside a partner on car repairs, further enhancing my practical skills and attention to detail.
