FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep it simple by estimating an entire project up front based on a per-hour cost. The client knows the timeline and cost in advance, and what to expect if overruns occur. I keep my prices reasonable for small businesses and non-profits.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After responding to a request with information on price and what I will provide I have a phone conversation and/or meeting to establish the client's needs and expectations. It is essential to understand who they are and how the best results can be achieved. I ask a series of questions to determine their likes and dislikes. I then provide design choices, revisions as needed, and final product in all required formats.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Fine Arts in college and have been in the computer-generated design arena for over 40 years. I am a certified expert in Adobe CC Illustrator and Photoshop, expert level in Powerpoint, and I stay on top of advances in graphic software, mostly through online training and hands-on work.
