- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide every customer with a very detailed itemized fix bid. There are generous allowances in the estimate for things like carpet, tile, cabinets, granite, plumbing fixtures, etc because it is hard to know what a customer will choose. Credits and overages are tracked on a change order and every item on the change order requires customer approval.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Set up an appointment to meet the customer, collect details, draw and measure the project. Return a packet containing a detailed estimate, scaled drawing, schedule, selection forms, references, and other informational stuff to help educate the customer so they can make a good decision on which contractor to work with. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Computer Science and have been trained in project management by one of the top 5 leading technology companies in the world. I grew up doing construction with my father. There isn’t anything I haven’t done residentially. I am certified in water mitigation, mold mitigation, fire restoration, smoke damage, carpet cleaning, and flooring installations I am an entrepreneur who owns two constructions companies, a hair salon, and a preventative maintenance company.
