Many artists I’ve worked with over the years have become successful. Some have gone on to work for the biggest names in music. I am an accomplished studio musician, music producer, recording, editing, mixing & mastering engineer. I compose and perform music in sessions to contribute to the song writing when requested. I am a voting member for the Grammy Awards. Some of my credits include: Xbox 360, HBO, Showtime, Dan Donegan of Disturbed, Drew Falk, Nnedi Okorafori, Avant, Travis Sayles, Jerry King, Hostile Groove, The Pharcyde, Roman South, Moments of Sanity, Beau Hill, Steven Stone, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Chad Gendason, Stephen Cohen, Christopher Paige, James LaBrie project, popular radio commercials, HBO, Showtime, and many more talented artists.
As a teacher of Music Technology
which includes courses in Songwriting, Music composition, recording engineering, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic, and more. My work experience includes core instructor at Musicians Institute in Hollywood California. I am now teaching at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, IL, and at in-Studio Music Technology school which is a higher education institute approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education with a program in Music Technology, located in Orland Park, Illinois. I also work in commercial recording studios. This experience gives me an inside look at how hit records are made. I then impart these methods in my teaching to my students. I share professional song writing conventions and pro recording, mixing and mastering techniques to become a industry professional . My education is B.A. in Liberal Arts, DePaul University. With additional studies from American Conservatory of Music, Berkeley School of Music, Saddleback College, Mission Viejo, CA. and virtuoso private instructors.
A rewarding part of my job is training my students and seeing them become successful in the music industry. I have had students go on to work for the biggest names in the music industry as Slavic Livins, Chris-Lord Alge, Humberto Gatica, John Schreiner, Celine Dion, David Matthews Band, Metallica, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Dr. Dre, EMINEM, Slash, Mariah Carey, and more. I have also recorded and trained artists whom have gone on major tours and received radio airplay. Its an amazing feeling to witness my students making records that they release and then support on tours!
