David was very patient with my ever-changing schedule and was able to make songs seems easy. He was able to boil down complicated drum skills into simple steps so that every lesson I felt like I was advancing. Sad he's no longer in NYC!

It was great to have David as a teacher and as a new friend. I definitely could see his passion for drumming and I learned so much from him. Before, I couldn't even think about moving my hands differently to my legs, but now I am able to and in only a short amount of time! I loved learning different music genres from David from bossa nova to funk rock to pure jazz. Loved it all and wish I could continue! Thank you so much, David!!!

I searched Craigslist for instructors in Orange County who teach "Moeller", a specialized method to maximize energy efficiency while drumming. David O and I spoke briefly on the phone about my expectations. I have taken just 5 lessons in total, and so far, my goals have been met or exceeded, including a huge breakthrough on my speed and technique (I'm a technical metal drummer). I can't express how to the point and precise David is. He has learned from some of the best drummers in the business and I feel honored to have the opportunity to work with him and improve my craft. Thank you David!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Trial lessons are half price or free with a purchase of 4 lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know the student’s style of learning and create a curriculum tailored to that. It usually takes a few lessons to get to know how my student learns. Depending on my teaching schedule I might leave extra time for the first few lessons to ease the transition.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters in education from Touro College and I am an alumnus of The Collective School of Music in NYC.
