Introduction
I have had a passion for photography, videography, and technology since I was a child. I have also had a passion for helping others throughout my life. For seven years I was a police officer in Illinois and transitioned into the IT field to pursue a second career path helping others and starting my own business.
My background consists of specialized training in photography/videography, operation of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS or Drones), security, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), processing crime scenes in regards to collecting and reviewing digital evidence, and first hand experience with the installation of security camera systems. This knowledge and experience gives me the advantage of understanding the proper placement for security cameras and systems so they are discrete and cover key vulnerable points in structures.
I serve the Chicagoland area and am willing to travel on a case to case basis. Please feel free to contact me with any of your IT, photography, videography, and UAS needs!

Brad did a great job installing our Ethernet wiring and fixing our home network. He gave me multiple options for the job and let me choose which to go with. The work he did was exactly what we needed. He even came back to our house a week later to fix our home network. I highly recommend Brad and Thompson Solutions.

Brad was great and I would highly recommend him. He was prompt, professional, and patient. His suggestions were thoughtful; his installations neat and professional; and he was patient with all my questions. Two additional things that really impressed me was that he labeled everything in case someone else needed to work on it and he cleaned up after himself. And our internet works better than it has in years! I would definitely use his services when and if the need arises.

I wanted all new Ethernet wiring pulled for the main floor and second floor bedrooms. After his visit he sent his ideas with some recommendation for how I could also improve my wireless along with the wiring that I wanted done. My wife said just do it all, so I told him to spec all the equipment. He sent the list along with amazon links to all the devices and equipment that was needed along with the total cost.
Once all the equipment arrived he called and scheduled the installation. He showed up on time and worked all day pulling wires and setting up gear. He came back the next day to finish up the last bits of work and explain everything he did and help me get up to speed with the new gear.
It is unfortunate that he fixed all my problems, as I don't know what I can hire him for again :)
