- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My services are a flat fee. There are no additional fees unless the distance exceeds 35 miles or if I need to purchase special clothing or items for the ceremony.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically send out a contract, and two questionnaire links to couples. The first is an informational questionnaire about their ceremony. The second is a relationship questionnaire to help me craft your script. I customize a script based on the information and feedback from the couple. I meet with or talk to couples on the phone, via zoom (google meet), or in person 1-2 times to introduce myself, get to know the couple, and review the ceremony script. I believe it's important for the couple to review the script and I encourage feeback before the script is finalized.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Prior to becoming an educator, I was a corporate event planner and I also worked in a bridal salon. I am an avid writer and have self published two children's books. I am also a presenter and trainer who speaks to teachers about various technology innovations within the field of education. While my education is not directly related to this field, my MA in education, ESL endorsement, and SEL certification has provided me the skills to be an effective writer and speaker and to collaborate with couples to understand their personal and cultural preferences for their ceremony.
