We had a 10+ year old ottoman that we purchased from Walter E Smithe. It was a good piece of furniture. Julio informed us to look for pieces that were American made, specifically in North Carolina. That described our ottoman. Instead of throwing it out as it began to tear and crack, I reached out to JC Custom Upholstery. He came and looked at the piece after giving us a ballpark on cost after I provided measurements. He brought over a hundred different leather samples. After my wife and I selected the right swatch Julio came to pick it up after receiving the hide. In a few short weeks we had a fully restored leather ottoman that looks brand new. We kept a great piece of furniture out of a landfill and restored it to fit our space again. Great work by JC Custom Upholstery. Would highly recommend and would use again for repairs.

Julio did a fabulous job reupholstering my 30+ year old wing back chairs. They're better than anything I've seen in furniture stores. He is very responsive, shows up when promised, is respectful of your home and very reasonably priced. He has a wide variety of materials to choose from. You won't be disappointed if you contact him.

From the very first contact Jc custom upholstery was prompt and curteous. Julio made it very easy for me to choose the right fabric to go with the room and other furniture. My chair looks beautiful. The color match was excellent. Beautiful work.
My dog had crept up onto the sofa while everyone was at work and left a tear in the leather. The couch is at least 20 years old. So all three seats got recovered.
