I’ve been in the music industry for over 15 years; performing, teaching, and engineering. I love working with students to reach their goals. I customize the curriculum to each individual. I have a wife and three beautiful daughters that share my love of music. I only teach from home. Please do not reach out to me unless you are serious about traveling to Montgomery. Eric is an amazing teacher! My 15-year-old advanced piano student is taking jazz piano lessons from him. After playing whatever is written in front of her for so long, this is a brand new way of applying her piano skills, and Eric is an excellent guide. He is fantastic at taking everything she already knows about music theory and piano performance and helping her apply it to improvising. His personality is wonderful, and he is so encouraging. I highly recommend him for music lessons!

Eric is amazing to work with. I have never played piano so I was hesitant to take lessons at 35. I went into it wanting to play one song... after 2 months, I can play so much more then one song. I highly recommend Eric as a teacher.

I don’t give discounts. I charge a fair rate for someone who has spent 15 years doing nothing but music as a career.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is to evaluate the student and clarify their goals so that they can achieve their goals in the most efficient manor.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing piano since I was four and picked up A lot of other instruments on my musical journey. I have a bachelors degree in music from Millikin University and another degree in production and engineering.
