There is no greater feeling of accomplishment than instilling my passion for music and the guitar within a student.
Everyone learns differently, and each potential pupil is approached with a unique and customized curriculum that best fits their goals for the instrument. To accommodate the restraints of the current COVID 19 situation in the world, I am completely outfitted for Skype video lessons as well! I have a professional video conferencing setup with HD video capabilities and clear, intelligible audio.

A master at the guitar and behind the boards, Matt Motto of Black & White Music is your go to guy for anything related to recording or lessons. I was very fortunate to get the opportunity to learn guitar from him and to have him record for me. Anything from price to skill, he's got you covered!

Matt has been great. He comes to the house and gives personal attention in a comfortable one on one setting. My son took lessons in the past and was indifferent to them, since he started taking lessons with Matt he hasn't put down his guitar!!

Matt displays great patience with the students and does an excellent job of keeping the students engaged. He creates an environment where they have fun while learning. In addition to teaching the students how to play the guitar, Matt also teaches them the proper maintenance on the guitar. Matt instills in the students the importance of reading music and playing technically correct. He ensures the students are continuously challenged to improve without overwhelming them. Our son has taken lessons for over a year now and it has been a very rewarding experience for him as well as us.

I take weekly lessons with Matt. He takes an interest in why you want to learn guitar and what you want to get out of it and guides the lessons from there. Very accommodating and attentive to the details of how you are playing the instrument.
