- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit up front, and the balance is due 7 days before the event. Any events could also be charged additional fees for parking costs if parking is not provided on site. I do charge a fee for travel based on how many miles away it is from the 60448 zip code as follows: 30-50 miles is $50 extra, 51-70 is $75 extra, 71-90 is $100 extra, 90-120 miles is $250 extra.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost I like to get a solid understanding of what their expectations are and make sure I am able to provide them with what they want. Once I know I can provide exactly what they are looking for and I am available on the date they need, I will send out a contract, ask for a 50% deposit to secure the date, and also include the event forms to allow my client to start to think about how they want the event to go so we can be on the same page. I always keep open communication with my clients. Customer service is a cornerstone of how I do business.

I have been doing this for over 20 years. Over 1000 weddings, hundreds of birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, school events, karaoke and trivia nights, and more!
