My name is Alfonso Qahhaar. I am an expert instructor and former competitor with over 30 years of experience! I focus on the individual, empowering them to discover their strengths and become “the master” of their weaknesses. I specialize in the 2000 year old Korean Self-Defense known as Taekwondo. Taekwondo’s primary focus is on the practioner’s ability to apply effective self defense, without weapons.

My daughter has been a part of ABBCNOW Taekwondo for 9 years. She learned not only physical discipline (balance, stamina, self control. self defense) but also grew in courage, and much of that is thanks to Master Al. Master Al is a great Taekwondo coach! He is great with all the kids, and expert in the field, and a very accommodating guy. Easy to work with and very enthusiastic about what he does. My three kids have been with him for over two years and have never had an issue. Would highly recommend him.
