I’m thankful for another great lesson. Thinking I knew all the rules about chess, I was taught some new things. I’m always learning something new and having fun during the lesson. The teacher is great because they are very balanced, they don’t sugar coat the chess lesson and get straight to the point to show me where I can improve. I can’t wait for the next chess lesson!

I have an Autistic teenage son. I have tried many activities and programs to engage him and pull him away from his electronic devices. After many years and failed attempts, we finally were referred to Brilliant Minds. He now looks forward to his weekly chess lessons. His amazing and patient coach, Tyler, keeps him interested during the entire session, which is no small feat. I am so grateful for the skill, professionalism, and understanding we have experienced at Brilliant Minds Chess Club.

My son has taken chess lesson with Brilliant Minds Chess through their online program for the past two years. Mariami and all the tutors are very nurturing and knows each child well (playing style, strengths/weaknesses, etc). Our son started with Brilliant Minds in Kindergarten and is now in 2nd grade. He is close to the 1000 level rating and he now attends tournaments throughout the state and country largely because of Mariami's teaching, support and encouragement. We really appreciate all she's done for us!
