- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Price is based on the job, the number of workers for the job, time, materials, and availability. I always ask if the price is doable and if it’s not then we can discuss a common price point. I usually take a non-refundable down payment to secure time and dates for jobs, especially during peak season. Reason being is that I want to make sure my customers get a fair chance to get a job done. But I will refund under specific orders. We also have an 1hr minimum.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I introduced myself, then I get information on the problem at hand, and discuss a solution that satisfies.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve had training on furniture assembly, furniture wrapping, customer service, and proper heavy lifting techniques. Moving furniture through tight spaces comes with experience.
