Introduction

Hello, I'm Diana, and I've been in business for myself since 2014. My professional services include deep and general cleaning, move-in and move-out services and organization of residential and small office spaces. I will come out to do a thorough cleaning and then work out a maintenance schedule that works for you - one-time, weekly, biweekly or monthly. The more frequent the service, the lower the fee. The initial price always includes an upcharge for the fee we pay to respond to you via this platform. If I cannot take on your job for various reasons, such as vague requests, unanswered questions, or scheduling conflicts, please forgive me if I do not respond to you. If I reach out to ask for clarification or respond to you in ANY way, I get charged. Therefore, please make sure your requests are clear and precise. The first time standard cleaning range is $125-$230 and the deep cleaning/move in/out range is $155-$300. The size, number of bedrooms & baths, and the number of members in the home help to determine the fee. Generally, if you have had a professional cleaning within a month's time, you can request a standard clean. Otherwise, you need a deep clean. A standard clean is less expensive and is subject to more time constraints than a deep clean. My most frequent work includes recurring cleaning for 2-4 bedroom/2-4 bathroom homes. I specialize in move-in's and move-outs and homes with pets. I know that homeowners would rather utilize their productivity elsewhere and simply don't have the time to clean; so that is why they call me. I get in there, focus on the task at hand and get the job done. On the commercial side, I specialize in small professional offices and medical/dental office spaces. I use green cleaning products that are safe for you, your family and pets. We will leave your home not only clean, but sparkling-clean, disinfected and fresh-smelling! If you have a specific preference, just supply it and I will gladly use whatever products you desire. I work primarily in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago and sections of Indiana within 15 miles from Flossmoor. Tenants, owners and property managers can contact me for a quote for residential, move-in/move-outs or small office spaces. My work is cathartic - I get a lot of satisfaction getting a space clean and would love the opportunity to work with you.

Blanche, as I stated to you via text before today, I would have hoped that you would have contacted me about any disappointment you felt in the remainder of the work after you left. When I contacted you, after reading your review, you told me that scuff marks were left on the kitchen floor and the baseboards weren't clean in the half bath. I witnessed my cleaning technician on his hands and knees because it was too tight a fit around the toilet for the mop. He cleaned the floor, scrubbed some stuck-on "crud" around the toilet and hand cleaned the baseboards; however, I'm sorry it was not to your satisfaction. Before you paid us and left the house, we had cleaned the two bedrooms, loft and bathroom upstairs, cleaned doors, door knobs, window sills, windows, fingerprints and scuffs from walls, baseboards, stair railings, stairs and then the same for the living and dining rooms downstairs, including your glass china cabinet. I was finishing up the windows in the master bedroom downstairs and my technician was working on your master bathroom when you left. The only rooms left to do were the kitchen and the two bathrooms. I cleaned your patio doors, entry doors, windows, freezer interior (by removing and washing all shelves and drawers to clean the mess made by the exploded drink), spot cleaned your walls, removed spider webs, cleaned and shined your stainless steel appliances, sanitized your counters and swept and mopped your floor. I offered to make up for your dismay at what you felt was a dramatic change in our work, but you stated the scuffs on the kitchen floor were already removed by the movers and another family member had moved in. I don't want to sound defensive and I certainly don't think I'm perfect, but I have to admit that I feel the use of the phrase "the quality of work change dramatically" was very extreme, especially after the sweat equity we put into our work for the 6+ hours we were there. I really am very sorry for your disappointment and wish I could have had a chance to resolve the problem, since the work was guaranteed. I still appreciate you and thank you so much for your business.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is based on the number of bedrooms, baths, stories, and square footage. I charge more for first time cleanings because they take more time, usually due to the fact that we deep clean. Maintenance fees depend on the frequency, so I would charge the least for weekly cleanings. Also, because there are fees associated with the bidding process, my initial fee for jobs through Thumbtack are higher than they would be normally.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually start with a deep cleaning for a new client, unless bi-weekly or more frequent cleaning has been performed by a professional cleaner. My original quote is given sight unseen and reflects a certain "given" amount of dirt. I rarely have to adjust the original quote unless there is an unusual amount of grease or soap scum (and you know if that's the case). The quotes are based on number of bedrooms, baths, stories, square footage, and cost to bid.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received training and mentorship from professionals and I constantly research the field for natural ways to clean and disinfect.
