Mike is not just the best plumber I've ever encountered, he's the best service person. He took the time to explain the job, and proceeded to perfectly install new toilet seats in our home. The value-add was the key component however, as he walked me through our sump pump / plumbing, and how to keep my home safe for years to come. He's one-of-a-kind.

Mike the Plumber is skilled at his craft. He replaced an old garbage disposal, triple-checked for leaks after install, found a slight issue and fixed it on the spot eliminating me potentially needing to call him back out. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Mike responded to my initial inquiry via Thumbtack within 10 minutes and at first told me based on my description of what needed to be addressed that it might not be anything that needed to be fixed at all. The transparency Mike showed us from the get go put us at ease we were in good hands if anything needed to be done. Mike showed up for an estimate, and gave us fair prices as we got a few quotes but his experience is why we chose to work with him. Mike installed a garbage disposal, a new faucet, replaced the cold water valve under the sink and another valve that needed to be replaced. He also helped us solve the water pressure issues on both of our shower heads in our bathrooms at no charge just because he was here. Would absolutely recommend working with Mike - we found our new plumber in Chicago for any (hopefully none!) needs! Thank you Mike!

Mike was very communicative both before and during the project. He did a great job of unhooking everything and then came back the next day to install new materials once our new countertop was put in place by the countertop vendor. He stayed later than he planned to make sure all the plumbing would work correctly for our new sink and faucet. I will definitely be calling him in the future when I need plumbing work done.

We do not charge consultation fee's or basic estimates. I like to see the job because it is to my benefit.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers always receive a discount of $25.00 off especially senior citizens and military which would be $45.00 off on first time customers.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I first did my rodding job when I was 12, ever since then I was hooked on learning about the trade. It's a dangerous job but you fall in love with it!
