We used Jose and his team to refinish a bathroom and add a laundry room in our home and we are impressed with how prompt and timely they were. We had done a lot of remodeling projects and people always run behind. Jose and his team finished the job on time and even accomodated a few changes to the plan. We will use them again.

I have always found it difficult to find a good contractor. Recently this has become even more difficult due to the labor shortage COVID has caused. When I decided to renovate my condo I had extremely high standards that I set for the contractor I was going to hire. I was looking for someone who was extremely skilled at their craft, a good communicator who promptly responded to calls and text messages, and who was trustworthy. I was doubtful I would find someone who checked all of the boxes. However, I was blown away when I met with Jose and his brother George from Chicago Task Remodeling. If you are looking for the best, your search is over.
Jose immediately responded to my inquiry about the work I was seeking to have completed. He was very friendly, and it was a breeze to schedule my appointment for my estimate. Jose and George arrived promptly for our appointment. They took time to listen to my needs, carefully reviewed all of the areas in which the work was going to be completed and asked very thoughtful questions. It was apparent that they were very knowledgeable and had a wealth of experience. They made me feel at ease and evoked a feeling of confidence.
I received an extremely detailed and fair quote shortly after our meeting which Jose explained to me. I was really impressed and decided to hire Chicago Task Remodeling to renovate my condo.
Jose and his crew started working right on schedule. In the weeks before work began we were in constant communication to make sure all of the materials and supplies we needed were ordered. Jose was very responsive any time me or the designer had a question. Before work began Jose and his team prepared my condo by carefully covering all of my hardwood floors, cabinets, furniture etc. I was blown away by all the care they took to make sure my condo was properly protected. Once work began it was fun to watch how quickly progress was made. Jose provided me with regular updates and sent me pictures to show their progress. Things went very smoothly but every renovation has some hiccups however, Jose was always on top of things with a solution and my job was even completed ahead of schedule.
The pride and craftsmanship that Jose and his team exhibit in everything they do is second to none. They gutted and installed a brand-new bathroom, sound proofed several common walls I share with the condo next door, installed a beautiful backsplash in my kitchen, installed canned lighting in my living and bedroom and under and over cabinet lighting in my kitchen, painted my entire condo from top to bottom, removed carpeting and installed luxury vinyl laminate flooring, and completed many other tasks- all with care and precision.
I would absolutely hire Chicago Task Remodeling again, and have already recommended them to several of my friends and family members.

EXCELLENT!! Only great things to say about Jose and his team - their work quality is exceptional, they work extremely hard to get the job done efficiently, and their professionalism is outstanding. Hiring a contractor from a website can be intimidating, but on day one of meeting Jose I always felt very comfortable. He provided a transparent and reasonable quote, always made sure we were aligned on the project scope to avoid recycle, and would respond with any inquiries within minutes. The project turned out exactly as I had hoped (~2 week full master bathroom renovation) and it was obvious that the team make sure things get done the right way. I will be hiring Jose and his team for other renovation projects in the future! (note - I decided to leave paint out of project scope in pictures)

Wow. Jose and his two partners came to give us a proposal for a kitchen remodel project which involved removing a wall between the kitchen and living room, moving electrical, moving cabinet, refinishing the floor where wall is broken, repatching the broken wall. He was able to give us a very competitive quote. We hired him and his quote was most transplant reasonable. He went above and beyond to make sure the wall we took down was structural or not. The electrical work turned more complex than we anticipated and he completed that without a issue. He left to me to decide how much more to pay for that. His team is highly professional and has a lot of construction, electrical experience. They follow every code possible. Jose and his crew takes all social distancing precautions when they enter our home wearing masks all the time which is tough given the complex jobs they do.
I like Joses honesty - I mistakenly paid him twice for his fees online and he reverted back the payment within few mins.
I will recommend hiring this company for remodelling projects or any complexity.
This work to my surprise was completed in 3 days start to finish with code and regulations.
Posting some before and after. My kitchen is still a mess as painting going on but to give you an idea.
