FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most handyman work is done for $50 an hour plus supplies. I don't have extra fees and typically round down if the job goes longer than expected. As a wedding or other officiant, I'm an ordained Lutheran Pastor serving full-time in the St. Louis Area. I typically work for an honorarium of $200-$300 depending upon details. Flexible depending on situation... And, of course, everyone is welcome to come to my church.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For handyman work, I need whatever details you can give (including pictures and any details on items involved). If it more complex, a simple checklist and a possible phone call helps. In officiating, I like to meet with the couple before agreeing to do the ceremony. I require a minimum of two sessions prior to the service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have several years of work on various properties, mostly residential. I have a wider variety of jobs that I do and hope to work quickly. Yes, Prepare-Enrich Counseling Certification, rostered & ordained pastor in the ELCA. Have experience as an LCMS pastor for 11 years prior.
