The service that we received from One Source was great. They came out this past summer to give me a quote and I didn't call them back until October and he still had all of my information. His prices are reasonable and he makes no mess putting the window in and he is quick at doing it. We would highly recommend them.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked for Pella Windows & Doors as a technician for many years. After the housing industry took a dump and my hours were being cut, I decided to go for it. It was time to take the plunge. My wife and I talked about it for months and months and here I am. And boy am I glad I did it. I no longer am bound by the shackles of corporate misfit junior management decisions. Now I can do whats best for the customer and not the corporation I work for.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Research, research, research! Know who you're letting into your home and know what is being installed into your home. You are the boss. Ask as many questions as possible and don't feel bad about it. If you've hired an honest contractor, they'll have nothing to hide. Educate yourself. The internet is your friend!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish customers' knew how beneficial a quality built insulated glass unit is to their home. All glass units are NOT the same and homeowners are not educated enough on this subject. That's why we provide a vast amount of information and helpful links on our website. We want to make sure they are making the best, most educated decision they possibly can.
