I took many years of wonderful private flute lessons with Mr. McEvers. He took me from being a struggling intermediate student to being the flute section leader for my high school’s most advanced band. I am very grateful for all that he taught me in terms of tone, rhythm, technique, and exposure to repertoire. I accredit the vast majority of my growth as a young jazz saxophonist to my private lessons teacher Aaron McEvers. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees at my home studio are fixed at $50/hr or $40/45minutes. I occasionally teach at a students home/office, but it would depend on location and would be more expensive.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.M. (Double Major) Classical Saxophone and Jazz Studies from Western Michigan University M.M Jazz and Contemporary Media from Eastman School of Music 20 yrs private teaching. Currently teaching saxophone at New Trier High School, Lane Tech High School and The Merit School of Music, where I also teach music theory. Extensive performing, writing, arranging and recording experience to extensive to list.
