So as I’ve written down in my notes here, I understand you were having a problem with a couch, and also a problem with a table. I also hear that there was a problem with The cost of a tv mounting and Finally, the authorization of your payments. As the CEO (or leader of this department), this falls on me. Our team did not recieve any responses from you after they attempted to reach out (we have recorded dated times of attempts VIA thumtack website, phone and even tried to reach you through your bank). So to start, I’m going to make one commitment to you, we’re going to get better at responding to these touchy matters. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, it helps us significantly. Nevertheless, lets continue with the couch and table that you are claimimg to be damaged by movers. Typically, After move is finished, movers asked you to inspect everything. You completed your walk through and gave the guys five stars and tipped them. Thats why the latest review you posted says "UPDATED". Of course, the way you wrote your first two five star reviews is how we like jobs to end, Customer Satisfied! Two weeks later you called for a tv mounting assignment and sat on the couch in question to watch technician mount bracket. No complaints came about from you all. Your two 6 year old kids even jumped on couch around you to also watch man hang TV. He also mounted Glass mirror that weighed 200 pounds over table in question for free because you asked and you also gave him five stars and tipped him. No mention of a cracked table. On his way out, you asked him to shovel driveway of snow and assemble an snow blower for free because you were unable and could he assemble Beds for you and your two childrens bunk beds for free. In which he did! The fifth week after all services had been completed you took away both five star reviews you posted to thumbtack and stated you found a damage or two and we didnt respond to it. This was absolutley amazing to hear from you all after all the moments you had to report such incidents especially since you and the guys did more work around these items. We also had tons of problems with your payments. But we could not figure out why so happy, so satisfied, call for more service, plus recieved tons of free work from the guys for six weeks and then when the payments didnt go through , your complaints started to arise. Were not detectives but something was not right here. This experience did not only damper our hearts but also dented the companies reputation. We try hard for our five stars! The couch wood you say we broke is easily spotted and we believe you had ample time to report, plus you would have to jump on that thick 2*4 wood to break that. But we still reached out and had no response. Secondly, the $75 charge to hang your tvs was reduced to $18.00 if you had your mounts already and it was performed during the move. You did not have them so an tech returned with the The tv mounts and you were informed that you would have to pay for the work as an seperate assignment since it actually was at that point and the mounts would be sold at full price (what we pay) and you were still discounted for hanging that at $50 per Tv in seperate rooms. I dont believe we even charged for the mileage it took to come visit your home one hour and twenty six minutes away from our base in the snow. We still in all appreciate our experience with you all and will be working on a way to prevent these unwanted actions from occuring again in the future.
