- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Thumbtack pricing may or may not include additional fees for additional work or services needed. We do not sneak in any hidden fees and will always keep our pricing transparent. We also do not charge additionally for anything that is firstly approved with you, our valued customer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The journey begins when you contact our company regarding your service in mind. First, we start by collecting a small set of information to create your profile inquiry. Then we review and map your property coordinates remotely for service. When remote viewing is not optional, available, or preferred by you, we’ll typically require an on-site estimate. After your property review is complete, we'll then begin to construct your quote. Once your quote is ready, we’ll send it via the given email. Each estimate is delivered within 24-72 hrs from the initial property review. We include line items in every quote, so you can see what you’re paying for and what is included. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
When boarding each crew member, we require a mandatory training regime to ensure that all members are eligible to handle your service knowledgeably, keeping your convenience in mind.
