My Chicago based interior design practice is focused on creating beautiful, functional environments that reflect an elevated vision of my clients' taste and personality. Each project focuses on bringing together a look and feel that compliments the existing architecture of the home while bringing new life to the space with bold innovative design concepts. I work on a variety of project types from home renovations down to detailed decisions on decor and accessories. Many of my projects focus on 1 or 2 rooms within the home, but full home design and even smaller consultations are aspects of my business as well.

WOW! Church refresh design! Peter did an amazing job! We made some selections for updating our church sanctuary, set before you ordered it we wanted professionals opinion and advice. Peter came out and looked at our space, asked why we made the selections that we did to learn more about what we were looking for, I'm gave us a couple of options on color schemes and material selections. Peter was super easy to work with, very accommodating, and understanding of all the different opinions our board had. He listened to all of our desires, asked questions to learn about our church, and gave us two amazing options to choose from. I will definitely use Peter again, whether it's personal business or for our church, and highly recommend him to anyone that needs an interior designer!

Was interested in buying an older home which needs walls moved due ti small rooms. Everyone else blew me off and told me ti talk to a general contractor. But GC’s don’t know if rooms are livable or not. Very professional and understanding of what I was trying to do.

Peter was great to work with. I didn't have the time, talent, or inclination so I hired Peter to design the living space in my condo. After measuring the space and taking the time to understand my own personal tastes and what I was trying to accomplish, he mapped out several different design schemes. Once we decided on a scheme, he presented various options for each piece of furniture, sourcing things from off-the-run stores that I didn't know about and otherwise would not have visited. While always taking into account my ideas, I felt he provided honest feedback and didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear. I couldn't be happier with the end product, and it's something I never would have been able to accomplish without his expertise. I will hire Peter again for my next project and can recommend him without reservation.

What types of customers have you worked with?
I offer both full design services and design consultation services on residential projects and small commercial spaces. A full design service project typically includes furniture selection, space planning, paint selection and accessory selection. I also work with selecting artwork, coordinating construction installations such as tile specification and cabinetry and the space planning of either new or demolished walls.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring a designer, you want to look for someone that not only knows how to put together the look you desire for your space, but is also experienced in the technical side of the work and has a good understanding of functionality. The portfolio is a good place to look for the visual side of the job, whereas knowing whether or not your designer has studied design in an academic setting is a pretty good indicator of technical knowledge and expertise in spatial planning.
