Fusion’s mission is to provide a unique environment for each individual client, and that the end results leave the client well informed and confident with their design decisions. This mission is accomplished by thoroughly analyzing the client’s needs at the beginning of each project, encouraging client involvement throughout the design process and, finally, ensuring client satisfaction with continued service, support and loyalty. I enjoy watching my client’s reactions throughout the design process as their project starts to transform and their dream becomes a reality for them.

Krista helped me from start to finish selecting fixtures and finishes, designing the space, and choosing lighting. She helped troubleshoot issues with the crew and the manufacturers of materials. I saved at least as much money on those items as I paid Krista for her services.

What I love about Fusion is how Krista, in her kind but honest approach, helped me to see where I was going wrong. She didn't rely on my ability, or lack thereof, to visualize, but created for me concrete plans, showing me exactly how my space could look. She helped me out of my box/rut, which I so desperately needed - I'm soooo grateful! She also didn't design my house for her, she understood my style (and my husband's), which isn't easy, and made our space reflect both of us. Krista is so much fun to work with and we're never going it alone again! We highly recommend Fusion!!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

I have worked on 4 homes with Krista. She consistently understands what I'm trying to achieve. She is super responsive and can shop at every price point. I have gorgeous custom made pieces (designed by her) to pillows she finds at HomeGoods. Krista is fun to work with and always comes in on budget (unless I blow it). She has helped me with new construction, rehabbing and refacing. Her talent is an awesome value.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically starts with a brief discussion on phone to introduce myself and my company to them, obtain more details about project, explain how I work with clients, overview of the design process and schedule a walk through of their project space, so that I can obtain a scope of services in order to let them know what the estimated design services would cost should they decide to move forward and hire Fusion Interior Design Inc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA of Fine Arts in Interior Design Passing the National Council for Interior Design Qualification test (NCIDQ certificate #17774) Registering with State of Illinois Dept of Financial and Professional Regulation. State recognizes me as a professional Registered Interior Designer license #161.003396
How did you get started doing this type of work?
College BA degree in Fine Arts, Interior Design I did an internship during my last semester in college with a hospitality design firm. When my internship was coming to an end, I was offered a permanent position with the design firm and hired as an interior designer.
