FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I take pride in the level of skill, experience, and care that I am able to apply to each and every patient. Harmony is a spa-like center and a tranquil retreat from the usual hustle and bustle of our lives. All of my treatments are conducted in private rooms, which ensures that my patients have the highest level of privacy when discussing sensitive issues. When I do a home visit, in the burbs, I do my best to recreate that atmosphere. Some insurance policies cover acupuncture for certain conditions and, although we don’t process insurance in our office, we are able to provide you with a receipt that has the correct billing codes on it, which will help you to be reimbursed for your treatment. In general: Initial non-fertility $130 Initial fertility: $160 Initial home visits on a case by case basis
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Your first appointment generally takes about an hour and 15 minutes, and follow ups about 40 minutes. This gives you plenty of time to talk with me and to ask any questions you might have. It also allows time for me to ask you lots of questions, as well as to examine your tongue and take your pulse in the service of making a Chinese medical diagnosis. Acupuncture points will be chosen according to your diagnosis, and other modalities may also be performed or suggested, including moxa, gua sha, cupping and massage. I may also prescribe some Chinese herbs or other supplements. I take great care to explain what I am doing and nothing should hurt or be uncomfortable. In fact, I hear from patients all the time that they love coming for treatment simply because it is so relaxing.
