I contacted Thumbtack about my need for a handyman. Artie responded quickly by text and we then spoke on the phone to set up an appointment for the next day. I was happy about that because I didn’t want any critters entering my home. He arrived at 9:59 am and I didn’t see a long ladder( which was needed for this 2nd story project ). I was getting skeptical but he had the nice convertible type and got to work immediately. He had to install a bathroom exhaust fan cover. I had purchased it previously because at least 2 others had told me they would fix it… (they didn’t). He was finished w/ this project and a last minute one @ 10:12am. I asked him what else he could do and showed him some other things I would need done ( ceiling fan install, entryway tile replacement, baseboard shoe replacement, and 2 bedroom ceilings drywalled ). After I buy my fan and select some flooring I will be hiring him again. Hopefully I have found my new dependable and competent handyman who are SO hard to find.
