Cody I’m glad you got your cabinets painted so quickly I hope they turned out immaculate. I have since stopped offering paint services so I will not fret over this single review. One cannot PAINT a picture with a single brush stroke The images provided cannot accurately reflect any work of mine since they are very small close ups of shots of a large project that I did very well on based on the materials you provided, and the timeframe given since I was pressured to finish before your daughters birthday party. The paint used was a lower grade paint from Home Depot which I did not recommend, and was adamant to you about this prior to starting. It failed to apply a solid base coat which consistently pealed when applying new paint, and since I had to work fast based on your given timeline I was stuck between a rock and a hard place (so to speak) though still did amazingly well despite the low grade paint. As far as arrival time goes, I live in the city. Traffic is not a simple hop skip and stone throw away for me to get to your home in Southwest suburbs. Since I work alone I am also responsible for all material runs and prep which does not include fueling up for long drives or even breakfast to prepare for a hard days work. I cannot justify tardiness but I can validate my “late arrivals/finish” were all work related and not for my own spiteful ways of being. Hope you and the family are doing great, I appreciate your honest feedback and sincerely apologize that I did not meet your expectations despite my warnings on paint selection. I am not trying to deny responsibility but I can only do so much when the technology in the paint selected does not meet standards needed for proper chemical adhesion between coats.
