I am incredibly happy with the work DBR did for me. They did a gorgeous portico over my front door and all new hardscape paths leading to the front door. It’s a project I’ve been wanting to do for a long time and now we have beautiful curb appeal. I would and have recommend DBR to anyone for a home renovation project.

When I set up a scheduled appointment with this company everything seemed to go fine. They were on time, very helpful with giving information on the estimate and any questions I had they were quick with responding. I was told I would be able to get my estimate within a day or two. I waited over a week with no quote. I reached out twice giving days in between for the quote, and each time I was told the guy who came out would reach out to me. Never received that quote, so I was left to believe they had no interest with doing business with me.

We hired Ivo and team to do a gut renovation for the master bedroom in our new place. I hesitate to leave a good review because I'm worried they'll be too busy in the future to do all the other projects we have on our list!In a city full of contractors that don't call you back or mysteriously disappear in the middle of a project, DBR is a breath of fresh air. Ivo checked in every day, most times in person, and he and his team treated our home as if it was their own. They gave great advice where we needed to improve the quality of our intended approach and added nice finishing touches that we hadn't thought of. This will sound cheesy but we kind of miss having the crew around!I will be hiring DBR for all future projects at our home and have already made several referrals.

DBR Construction, Mr. Ivo Alexander the owner and his team were a very professional and responsive construction company. They took on the daunting task of gut rehabilitating our condominium in the heart of Chicagos Astor District. The building is older, and Ivo the owner identified several cost effective ways to improve the insulation, new technologies in HVAC solutions, sound dampening, hardwood flooring, metal work, tile, worked with subcontractors to create beautiful finishes, and worked with the HOA to keep things relatively quiet for our neighbors. The team consisted of Adrian, Arturo, Eric, Ben, Henry, Carlos, and Oscar. All had their lanes and worked beautifully both independently and as a team when necessary. DBR will be our go-to firm for future buildouts or new purchases in the future for any construction.
