50 year old chimney had been neglected. SM Home cleaned it, repaired/replaced the broken bricks, replaced the cap, replaced the damper and put in a new liner. They first moved all furniture and the rug from near the fireplace and covered them with plastic sheeting. Upon completing the chimney they replaced the rug and furniture and explained how to use the new damper. Very professional throughout. The job was delayed a bit by inclement weather.

The owner of the company was quick to respond to our initial request. He would keep in contact with us before he arrived. He would take pictures/videos before and after the work was done to show the improvements made. He made it easy for us to understand what was needed to make repairs and offered us various options for fixing our chimney. Most importantly, he was easy to work with and had an easy going manner without pushing us to choose one option over another. We highly recommend him for any chimney work done well.
