Kristina has been wonderful so far with her style of teaching. Her lessons are affordable and I feel like I’m moving through German fast because she makes sure to cover fundamental concepts in a way that’s both engaging and fun. She’s very patient and understanding if I’m struggling with a concept or vocabulary and assigns homework that challenges me and lets me explore new vocabulary on my own. I’ve really enjoyed having her as a teacher and would recommend her to others just starting to learn German or any other language she offers.

I have taken two German lessons with Kristina so far and I am impressed. I enjoyed my first lesson so much that I attended the second lesson even though I was feeling sick. In this short time, I already noticed Kristina is a skilled instructor with years of experience. She has been gauging my level since I haven't spoken my beginner level German in over a decade and has structured her lessons in a way that isn't too easy, yet difficult enough that I am challenged and learning many new things. I look forward to learning more from her so that I can someday surprise my German friends with decent fluency. ;)

I signed up with Kristina to learn German as I wish to start traveling in that area and would like to feel comfortable with the language. I knew nothing more than very basic phrases so I was nervous about hiring a tutor. Working with Kristina has been wonderful! She has catered the classes to my exact level of learning and she is always very prepared for each lesson. I highly recommend her as a teacher/tutor to anyone looking for a qualified professional. Kristina did an exceptional job in helping my son with his German studies. In less than 45 days, she covered the entire German 1 syllabus with him, and he successfully passed. She went above and beyond by creating audio files for him to practice listening comprehension, administering tests, and always coming to sessions fully prepared. I’m extremely satisfied with her dedication and effectiveness. I will definitely recommend her and plan to continue working with her, especially as my son is now interested in taking the German Level 1 - A1 certification.

I assess their level, unless they are starting from scratch, and select the teaching materials based on that. The students who are starting from scratch are asked to fill out a questionnaire.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did my doctorate in philosophy, which meant working with the original German texts. What’s more, my father was German.
