I founded The Bear Events on the principle of “The Clan” mentality - one person can create a good event, but a team (or a pack) can make it LEGENDARY! In complete transparency, I started TBE by true force of nature - meaning I was forced by her very large family and friend group to plan their weddings and celebrations. Let’s be honest, I was a willing victim!
I have always had a knack for creativity, fun, beauty, style, and handling many large personalities in one room. Let’s bring your vision into fruition!

Mary with The Bear Events truly is the reason why our wedding was the perfect day. She immediately got the ball rolling after our first meeting and actually made the planning process easy, stress free, and fun! With her experience, connections, and amazing personality, she was able to put us in touch with the best vendors and eased the communication between all the parties. My husband and I just had to pick what we wanted and she made it happen. We also incorporated so many fun ideas based on her suggestions we had never even heard of! Like bubble fireworks- GOLD. She made sure we had check-ins leading up to the big day, making sure we were we on top of our schedule that she created for us, but also making sure my husband and I were good and still stress free. She was attentive and incredibly fast at responses. She was also very honest which I appreciated. She made it seem like we weren’t just another client of hers, helping us find the best deals and budget friendly options. Personally, I am not someone who can always speak my mind with what I want, so Mary made sure she would be that person for me. Any time I wanted or needed something done, I went to her and she talked to the vendor, taking the brunt of any issues. But realistically, because we were working with Mary, there were no issues! And then wedding day, Mary really was the MVP. She made sure we were all on schedule but never stopped the party going. She had all the emergency kits you could need, which came in handy when I got a stain on my dress and she was able to completely get out! She really made sure to listen to Danny and I, so when we saw the day finally come together, it was actually better than we envisioned. She is incredibly detail-oriented, which is great because as someone who is also all about the details, I knew I had nothing to worry about. She thought of details that never even crossed my mind. At the reception, her and her team are working hard behind the scenes so my husband and I, along with our family, can focus on living in the moment while she helped put things away, placed the bridal party where they needed to be, passed out dance floor props, checking in with the dj, catering, photo, and videographer throughout the night. She would check in with us making sure if there was anything we needed, she immediately got. She had champagne and food in the bridal suite when we got to the venue and while I was doing touch ups, personally brought up wine for the girls and I. I mean I have never felt so pampered. If something went wrong on the wedding day, I have absolutely no idea about it, because that is how great Mary and The Bear Events is. All week the weather was looking amazing, and of course the night before the rain starts rolling in. Mary had enough umbrellas for the entire bridal party if we needed. Luckily, we didn’t, but she went out of her way to make sure we had the really pretty clear umbrellas for pictures just in case. The passion Mary has is very evident in the work she put in planning this wedding. I can go on and on about how I would recommend her to any person. I’m already telling friends who aren’t even engaged yet that they need to use her for when their day comes. If I can rate higher than the 5 stars I would. My husband and I used “The Bear Events” for our wedding shower and wedding reception and they did an OUTSTANDING job with our decor!! They truly listened, understood our vision and executed everything to the “giant marquee” letter! Haha
We are still receiving compliments from our guest that attended these events because “The Bear Events” didn’t miss one detail when I came to making both events transport you into the most magical, whimsical atmospheres! They are truly a one stop shop for everything event planning! 10 of 10 recommend! - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mary quickly became a part of our family. Not only did she lead and organize everything, she had eyes on everyone-and took charge because she truly cares about making your event a success! Just another example of how she exceeded our expectations. Her calming nature exudes a strong sense of confidence and powerful leadership skills. She went above and beyond even when you’re not around.
