Introduction

This business has been started by my father and I. In 2017 we established this company from doing small side jobs to doing bigger home projects. I later joined the carpenters union to advance my knowledge in carpentry and learn both residential and commercial systems. I Mario Avila as the owner of this business , make sure every client is satisfied and gets the project of their dreams delivered. We might not be the cheapest company out there but we offer a trustworthy, quality, and affordable service.

Working with Mario was fantastic. Very responsive via text and calling. Our HOA building needed exterior wood staircase and 4 front doors and frames all re-painted. Mario said he would arrive to start the work on a Saturday between 7am-8am. We’ve all been there before where someone ends up showing up around lunchtime… not Mario! Mario arrived at 7:01am and started working right away. Fantastic work quality, great communication, fair pricing, and very punctual. Mario is awesome to work with and would 100% recommend!

I would definitely recommend SOM construction. Mr Avila was on time and very professional. I was so stressed out trying to find someone to do this small job for me . I had been calling and leaving messages to different companies and he was the only one who responded to my issue. I really appreciate that ❤️❤️❤️. Thanks again Mr Avila I will definitely use your services again. The work quality was nice and sturdy he built a nice platform for my wall oven .

We had an immediate need to level an island, exactly, so that granite could be installed, and they responded promptly, with a reasonably priced estimate, solid advise on how to proceed, and came out as promised, quickly completing the job, professionally and precisely.

I like to give a ball park price before getting into details to make sure customers budget is realistic.

I have completed the carpentry apprenticeship program with carpenters union and earned a degree in construction management from college of Dupage.
