FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is transparent and tailored to the scope and complexity of each project. We provide detailed, itemized estimates so you know exactly what you're paying for—no hidden fees or surprise charges. Larger projects may qualify for bundled pricing or volume discounts, and we occasionally offer seasonal promotions on select services like patio installations or outdoor kitchens. While we aim to stay competitive, we prioritize quality craftsmanship, durable materials, and long-term value over cutting corners. A small deposit is typically required to secure your project in our schedule, with progress payments tied to clear milestones. If you have a budget in mind, let us know—we’re happy to explore creative solutions to get the most value without sacrificing quality.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is designed to be smooth, transparent, and collaborative from start to finish: Initial Consultation – We start with a conversation to understand your vision, goals, and budget. This can be done over the phone or in person, depending on your preference. On-Site Visit & Assessment – We visit your property to take measurements, evaluate the site conditions, and discuss ideas in more detail. This helps us give you a realistic and accurate estimate. Design & Proposal – Based on your input, we create a custom design and provide a detailed proposal, including pricing, timeline, and materials. We’ll walk you through everything so you feel confident moving forward. Project Scheduling – Once approved, we schedule your project and handle any necessary permits or inspections (if applicable). Construction Phase – Our crew shows up on time, respects your property, and keeps you updated throughout the build. We focus on quality craftsmanship, safety, and staying on schedule. Final Walkthrough – After completion, we do a walkthrough with you to make sure everything meets your expectations. We’re not done until you’re satisfied. Follow-Up – We stand by our work. If you have questions or need support after the project is done, we're just a phone call away.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training has been a mix of hands-on experience, formal education, and ongoing learning. I started out working in residential construction, where I learned the fundamentals of building—from framing and foundations to finish work. Over the years, I’ve completed specialized training in areas like deck construction, hardscaping, outdoor kitchens, and low-voltage outdoor lighting. I’ve also taken courses in blueprint reading, building codes, and project management to make sure everything I build is safe, up to code, and built to last. Staying current with new materials and installation techniques is important to me, so I regularly attend trade shows, manufacturer workshops, and training seminars. Beyond that, years of real-world experience have been the greatest teacher. Every project has sharpened my skills and reinforced the importance of planning, communication, and doing things right the first time.
