FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is no complicating pricing in the clinic, especially if you have insurance. First if you have insurance then the payment is going to be either deductible, or co-pay for the covered services. If your looking for acupuncture it is a straight $65.00 per treatment. The first visit is usually a little more with consult and history taking 95.00. if any other questions please contact the office.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am usually very active in my continuing education. It is required that we have 50 CEU's every year. I am constantly learning new techniques for Rehabilitation, Spinal conditions, Active care and Acupuncture. I believe it is important to always have many different tools/techniques to treat the patients; not all of them work the same on the each patient.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Well it is a neat story to say the least. I was a bodybuilder and had dreams of entering competition. I ended up in a car accident that actually caused partial paralysis on my right side. For two years I was on pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs; I couldn't do much, let alone lift. I was planning to go to med school to become a M.D./D.O. Well, I met my mentor at a health expo, and he asked if he could help me; Dr. John Meyers D.C. . I told him I doubt it, because nothing has worked. He asked me to come to his office and let him look at me, it was the best decision that I made in my life. After a couple of months I was back to lifting and no worries about not being able to live life. My M.D. totally disagreed with the treatment, but at the same time had no alternative. Long story short, That gave me a drive to help who I can, the best that I can, with the most conservative treatment possible. And I owe chiropractic my life, so I decided to pay it forward; and here I am doing it!
