After talking with Paul on the phone, I felt he would be a good fit for me and my boys, one full pittie and one pittie mix who are reactive to dogs and people with some separation anxiety. It was a 2 hour session and I learned so much about how to address issues like redirecting before they get to an overly anxious state and positive reinforcement. I needed the training as well! I will definitely be working with Paul again just to keep my training up as well as theirs and going for walks in the park, something I never thought would be possible before we worked with Paul. So impressive that he had them in a calm relaxed state within a short time of meeting them

Paul was an excellent trainer who was very friendly and patient with my dog churro. His training was effective fairly quick which caught me by surprise considering churro is typically stubborn and doesn't listen right away (especially w strangers). Churro is a 3 year old chihuahua-dachshund mix and has always had problems with barking/aggression, showing signs of resource guarding and being overprotective. He's also had biting incidents in the past which was the main issue at hand because I wanted to avoid possibly having to euthanize him over it in the future if he had an accident with a stranger. Paul's methods during training were very effective and by the time he left Churro was calm and cordial. I've been been practicing the different tactics that were taught during his training session and churros been extremely responsive and behaving as expected in a positive manner. I highly recommend coming to Paul with help training your dog no matter the age.

Paul is great!!! I highly recommend Paul to anyone who needs dog training. Very responsive to messages and calls, very patient with me and my dog. Paul explained the logic of everything we practiced doing, watched me do them and gave suggestions, and asked me about what I learned to make sure I understood and remembered everything. Our session was very helpful and productive and now I feel more confident with my dog. Thanks for a great, productive, caring session!! My dog and I are very lucky to have met Paul.

I cannot speak more highly of Paul and the training he provided to Daisy and the education he provided me. I had a terrible experience with a different trainer so Paul had a lot to overcome not only with me but also with how he treated my puppy. He didn’t come in with an agenda but instead wanted to learn how I interact with Daisy to know what triggers her bad behaviors. He then gave me multiple methods to use to train out those bad behaviors. His method is all about positive reinforcement built into normal everyday life which I found to be very beneficial. I would recommend Paul to any dog owner seeking training advice.

I ask my clients what their goals are and the behaviors they need adjusted for their pups. My goal is to help you and your dog have a better life together! :)
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was always fearful of dogs growing up. A bite at a young age left me traumatized, and since then, I avoided dogs for years, missing out on countless experiences. I never believed I could overcome this fear and love dogs again. Then Sedona arrived and changed my life forever. Our start was rocky, but she helped me conquer my fear. She stood by me at my lowest and celebrated my best moments. She taught me so much about dogs. She was my sister and best friend. Our beloved Shih Tzu, Sedona, passed away a few years ago. I promised her that I would help as many animals as I can until we meet again. This is dedicated to her and all the dogs I hope to help. Thank you for reading this. Please take care of your fur baby.
