Run don’t walk to hire The Blarney Rose for your next event! Mary was such an amazing bartender for my Galentine’s party. She is thoughtful, detailed, organized, creative, punctual, communicative, professional and so much more- all traits I’m looking for while hiring a vendor. The drinks were delicious and my guests couldn’t stop raving about them! Already brainstorming my next party so I have a reason to hire Mary again. She is the BEST!!!

Mary was an amazing addition to our wedding! She worked with us to craft signature cocktails, sent recipes for us to try, and came prepped to serve our 185 guests. Drinks were delicious, and our guests loved Mary and Kristina. Would here Mary again without a doubt!

Mary caused a tiny little problem at my wedding. She made a drink SO unique and delicious that the venue-hired bartenders couldn’t keep up with the demand from our wedding guests during happy hour. Typically, for signature cocktails, guests will get one to start and then move on to their usual beer, wine or mixed drink of choice. But our guests were so enthralled by the delicious art in the form of spirits and flavor blends, that they kept coming back for more.... and more, and more. And of course, it was a classy drink that required shaking, stirring and adorable accouterment, it’s a drink curated by Mary. So the unprecedented demand for our Tiki Whisky Sour(don’t blame Mary for the name, I CAME up with it and unfortunately my creativity doesn’t stretch to naming cocktails), caused some lines at the bar at our wedding. But would I change a thing? NO. My husband and I are midwesterners who got married in Hawaii, and being the enthusiastic Whisky drinkers we are, asked Mary to curate a cocktail that was delicious, tropical, and unique for our wedding. Now asking someone for a whisky drink with a tropical flare is a BIG ask, but Mary was up to the challenge. She came up with three different choices and conducted a fun taste testing that showed all the talent, skill and finesse of an experienced connoisseur. What we landed on was a subtle Wheated Whisky mixed with the classical tropical Orgeat, accented with pineapple and lemon juice, and topped with a Tiki bitters, with the rim dusted in all spice. As you can imagine, not only was it a show stopper in looks, but also in taste! With my vague requests and hopes, Mary delivered and then some. But that’s what you can expect with the ultimate party planner and drink Maester. She’s a talent we are all blessed to know and I couldn’t say enough positive things about the cocktail and the woman behind them.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing does not include alcohol, most traveling bartenders will not have the licenses to do so. Mobile tap truck rental is an additional cost. It’s a vintage item and takes a lot to maintain, it is well worth the cost to have this awesome addition at your party!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA in business/coordination. BASSET certified. 20 years bartending and classic cocktail training.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been in the bartending and hospitality industry for 20 years. I also have a business degree that specializes in event coordinating.
