- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $40 per one-on-one session. Couples can train together in a semi-private session for $32 each ($64 total). All sessions are are 45 minutes and include a free consultation and fitness assessment. Monthly and 12-week packages are available.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I enjoy meeting potential new clients in a "discovery session" to show them my studio and answer initial questions. This way they can evaluate the environment and see if training with me is a fit. I then schedule a consultation, where we discuss health and exercise history, past experience, and readiness to change. We also do a fitness assessment. From this information, I develop an exercise program customized to the client. We work together to address healthy eating concerns and develop healthy lifestyle habits.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a health and fitness information junky. Knowledge is motivation. I read and share articles, studies and research. I am an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer. I will be continuing my education to become a certified Health Coach, because I believe behavior change is key and clients need this kind of support to achieve long lasting change. I think having a business background and degree, and having been a Project Management Professional is a plus as well.
