Megan and her crew were absolutely fabulous in dealing with the asbestos in my older home. They were very respectful of my property, wore booties in my house, kept me informed at all times, and were very pleasant to work with. Megan took the extra time to explain everything that was happening, as well as taught me a lot about asbestos and mold that I never knew before. I would absolutely recommend Megan and her crew to anyone looking for a great experience in a very difficult situation.

Megan came out to give me a second opinion when I was quoted $3000 by another company for remediation. She was very honest and upfront that remediation wasnt not necessary. If I ever have a mold problem again I will be reaching out to her.

We contacted Far West for an estimate on mold remediation. Megan came out to assess our situation. She was very professional and knowledgeable, as well as thorough in gathering the information and measurements needed for the estimate. She gave us a lot of good information on what to expect with the remediation.

They were quick and professional! I am a real estate agent and mold was found in the home inspection. Far west responded quickly, got it all cleaned up and saved the deal. Seller was happy with the price and buyer was happy with the results

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Its nearly impossible to quote a price without first walking the job, that's why we offer free inspections! Once we walk the job and get a better idea of the homeowners needs we can get photos/measurements over to one of our estimators and provide the homeowner with a price usually within 24-48 hours. We do offer senior citizen as well as military/first responder discounts!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a new lead comes in we will reach out to them to set up a time for a free inspection. We will call the homeowner when we are headed their direction. Once onsite we will walk the job with them get any photos/measurements we need and answer any questions they might have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Farwest Environmental is a IICRC certified Firm. Our technicians are IICRC certified in water damage, mold remediation, odor remediation as well as biohazard/trauma cleanup. Our technicians are certified AHERA asbestos inspectors/contractor supervisors and EPA lead inspectors.
