- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to work with the customers to understand their budget. I am pretty flexible about negotiating a fair price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
One thing great about having a part time photography business is that it is not about the money. I have a full time job, so when I sit down with a customer I share that information because it puts them at ease to work on a budget they can afford. To me it is all about capturing that special moment. I am also an empty nester, so I truly understand how important pictures are to a family.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I do not have formal photography training, most of my experience comes from taking pictures over 20 years of my family and friends. Now that all of my children are adults and living on the mainland, I have the freedom to work harder at this craft. I simply enjoy taking pictures.
