I’m Paul, a wedding & elopement filmmaker based on the Big Island of Hawaii. I capture love stories of couples in venues and locations around the Big Island, Maui, Oahu and Lanai. If you're a couple looking for videographer to tell the story of your celebration, I'd love to hear from you. My passion for creating beautiful, emotional and engaging films stems from my love of stories. However you're choosing to celebrate, from a grand wedding to an intimate elopement and everything in between. Every couple has a story, and I'd love to tell yours. As an FAA licensed drone pilot, I'm also able to capture aerial footage to make sure that you can remember your special day from every angle. Paul was such a pleasure to work with! We originally had our wedding planned in Hawaii but due to covid had to relocate in Oregon. He still flew out and filmed our video!!! How amazing is that? He was professional, had great communication, and let’s not forget how talented he is. I was so impressed that one man can have so many cameras filming at once. He captured every angle and moment perfectly during our day. Now we will have this beautiful video to look back on forever! Paul is an amazing photographer and so much more. I traveled to Hawaii for a surprise engagement with my girlfriend. I contacted Paul ahead of time about my plan and he listed all the great beaches on Big Island that would be ideal for the candid proposal. He caught the moment perfectly and did an outstanding job. Moreover, post the surprise event we did a photo shoot and he had all the right shots and uploaded/provided quality images shortly. On the big day, there was a tsunami warning in HI and all the beaches closed hrs before, so we had to change our plan. Paul went out of his way to check another beach on short notice and confirmed the situation and made sure we can still have a surprise engagement on a beach during sunset. He’s nice, thoughtful, easy to work with and priced accordingly. As a Thumbtack Pro myself I am very impressed and pleased.

Paul is an amazing photographer/videographer! He's really an answered prayer for both me and my husband because despite the countless changes that we made for our event, Paul remained very patient with us and was very accomadating. He's also very polite which makes us feel very comfortable to give our inputs and suggestions. He really listens to what we want and he gives his 101% to give to us. A true value for money! He's very professional and very punctual too! He also sent us our photos and videos way too early than expected date and it's all beautiful!!! He really exceeded our expectations!!! More than that, he's very nice and friendly that even our kids enjoy doing photoshoot with him. We would definitely recommend this guy to all of our relatives and friends! 5 stars aren't enough for this guy! He's the best!!!

Paul was amazing from the start. He’s very responsive and accommodating with us for our Maui elopement. He was professional and his work beautiful. His prices were also very very reasonable. definitely consider Paul for your elopement photography or videography :) I’m so happy Paul was present to capture our special day during this crazy pandemic.

Paul did an incredible job capturing an intimate elopement between my beautiful wife and I. We are not huge picture takers, but Paul's demeanor made us comfortable. More importantly, Paul understood the intimacy of the event (one of only 4 people invited!) and captured so many incredible moments we'll get to share with our families and friends forever. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I aim to keep my prices fair, while being reflective of the high quality of work that I'm committed to delivering.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After getting an inquiry my initial goal is to get on the phone to talk about what you're looking for and have a chance to ask each other questions directly. Following the phone call I will email you a proposal summary of what we talked about, with pricing and the contract agreement. You can then review this in your own time and make the reservation fee payment and sign the agreement online when ready. And I'm always available throughout the process, helpful where needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In the summer of 2019 I got my FAA part 107 commercial drone license. I would recommend any drone pilot to get it.
