Introduction

I carry over 5 years of tennis teaching experience, across all age groups and levels. I came to this country on a tennis scholarship and played 4 years of NCAA college tennis. I teach tennis to share my experiences and learnings. My clients consider me patient, knowledgeable and someone who understands the importance of "fun" in learning. I recently started teaching Jersey City and looking for some more opportunities to teach in my spare time.

Never knew learning tennis could be so much fun. In just few lessons with Arpit I was able to learn the basics of tennis and could go back and forth hitting the ball. I'd definitely recommend taking lessons with Arpit to anyone who would like to learn to play and have fun on the tennis court.

Arpit is an excellent tennis instructor! I've already improved my baseline hits, volleys, and serving over just 5-6 sessions with him this summer. He individualizes the lessons to your preferences and skill level. I look forward to having many more tennis lessons with him.

Arpit is a fantastic tennis instructor! He is very personable and professional, and the session always passes too quickly. He is great at evaluating the way I play to identify problems and helps me to fix them with clear instructions and advice on ways to improve. I get more out of one session with Arpit than I do a whole season of group lessons, and his rate is very fair. I can't recommend him highly enough.

We have two kids (different skills) coached by Arpit. He was able to adjust his style to working with them and instill discipline and teach good techniques that helped them both. Continue to use him for coaching for kids.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I bring the tennis balls so all you need is a racquet, proper attire and some motivation to learn :). I usually offer discounts for the first lesson. Please feel free to inquire.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson usually gives me an idea of the level of the customer. I also try to understand what is expected out of this experience. Based on these learnings, I build my teaching strategies, which is usually the mix of learning techniques and applying the same playing points.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played tennis all my life. - Played 4 years of college tennis (NCAA) - Taught 5 summers of tennis in a country club to clients of all ages and levels - Currently teaching a network of 9 customers during weekends and post work hours
