After a series of bad experiences with a few contractors on Thumbtack, here was one that finally paid off. Sergio and his crew were outstanding. From initial survey and to Sergio's regular communication to flawless execution of the project, Hawaii Custom Building did exemplary work. As occurs frequently with many projects, unexpected discoveries arise, and Sergio kept me abreast every step along the way. I was most impressed with Gordon, who worked solo and diligently from 8a to 4 pm most days without fail, and was the consummate professional. I would recommend Hawaii Custom Building without reservation. If I have future projects for my own home, this will be my first call.

HCB does have a pricing protocol. HCB, like all businesses, has overhead (insurances, taxes, admin. fees, etc.....) like all companies. HCB states this on their estimates (HCB Bus. Fees)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone call, Meet with the homeowner; get to know their needs, Assemble an estimate, Review estimate, Answer any and all questions, Signing of contract, Start and complete project
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have close to (25) years of hands on building expierance in custom residential homes. Quality and customer service comes first.
