Locate the idler pulley and motor near the base of the dryer. Release the tension on the belt and remove the old belt from the pulley. Lift the drum slightly and pull it out of the dryer. Take this opportunity to clean out any lint or debris that has collected inside the dryer body.
Place the new dryer belt around the drum, ensuring that the grooved sides are facing the drum. Slide the drum back into the dryer, ensuring that it's seated properly on the support rollers.
Loop the belt around the motor pulley and idler pulley, restoring tension to the belt. Double-check that the belt is properly aligned and seated on the drum.
