- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In our pricing, we aim to be fair to both the customer and the instructor. The company policy is to I focus on quality and not quantity. Therefore, we only have a limited amount of students each instructor can have on their roster. We are not the cheapest company as we believe teachers should be compensated generously for their hard work. We are not the most expensive company as we believe in being fair and modest to our customers. Lastly, we have a price structure built in place to ensure commitment from both the customer and instructor.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, a client will call and tell us the areas they or their student has struggled. We will arrange an appointment for a comprehensive assessment. During the first meeting, the evaluation targets the strengthens and weaknesses of the student. From there, we are then able to create an individualized learning plan. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As the lead at Above Grade, I have taught and consulted now for almost ten years, in addition to obtaining M.Ed in Education. I am currently seeking my Doctorate in Education. My certifications include elementary (all the content areas), Special Education p-12th grades, Reading endorsement K-5 and ESOL education p-12th grades. All of our team members are graduates with either undergrad or graduate degrees in the areas they specialize. Our combined team has over 45 years experience in teaching, tutoring and mentoring. We all have an excellent rapport with our clients, and we cannot wait to help you or your student achieve success!
